Buying a set
Every chair is priced singly and in sets of two, four, six, eight, ten and twelve. Each chair page shows what one chair works out to at every size, so the saving is on the page rather than in the arithmetic. Mix chairs in one order and the set price is worked out in your quotation.
The timber
Acacia grows across the Philippine lowlands and carries its history in its grain: deep golden browns running into darker heartwood, often with sweeping figure through a single board. It is dense and notably hard-wearing, resisting the dents and scratches a dining chair collects over the years. No two boards match, which means no two chairs do either.
